The Horizon on Bay was built by Tridel in the late-80’s, initially as a rental building, and then sold off as condos. The building stands 26-storeys and houses 476 suites ranging in size from 650sqft to 1100sqft. Pricing here is generally well below other Bay Street buildings (often less that $300per sqft). Some suites have balconies. Condo fees are approximately 39¢ per sqft. including utilities. Marble, granite and veneer are the dominant lobby features. Facilities include a rooftop garden with jogging track, gas barbeques, hot tub, squash courts, indoor pool, and fitness facility. Horizon on Bay is located at Bay Street and Edward Street, minutes from the Eaton Centre, business district, and major hospitals. This is another Bay Street building that is unlikely to set hearts a flutter.
