L’Esprit 15 Maitland Place/60 Homewood Avenue

Completed by Philmor Developments Ltd. in 1990, the building houses 409 suites in two sections of 20-storeys and 5-storeys. There are also three historic townhomes that are part of the project. Units range from one bedrooms of 730sqft to 1400sqft two bedrooms. Prices start at $300 per square foot and rise to $350 per square foot. Facilities include squash court, tennis court, basket ball court, indoor pool, fitness room, sauna, billiard/card room, entertainment room, rooftop garden and more. While L’Esprit is not a pretty building, it was an early pioneer to Jarvis Street and it contributed greatly to the redevelopment that is now taking place.
