The Boot 75 Dalhousie Street

The Boot was completed in 2003 by Cresford Developments with architecture by Young & Wright Architects. So named because in a previous life the site was the terraces roller skating rink. Located just east of Church Street off of Shuter Street, the Boot is steps to the Eaton Centre and Ryerson University. Facilities include a party room, billiards room, fitness area and a rooftop terrace. The Boot does provide affordable housing with very little style. It rises 12-storeys, and houses approximately 150 suites, ranging from a 440sqft one bedroom to a 910sqft two bedroom plus den. Penthouses can be larger and have terraces. Prices at The Boot start at approximately $300 per square foot.
