Located in the heart of the Queen Street West community, residents of The Grange have one of the city’s hippest locations. Unfortunately the product does not conform to its environment. Developed in the early 1980’s by Tridel, the development is totally forgettable. This cluster of mid-rise buildings, with a total of 568 suites, allows for private courtyards and more than 20 different residence designs. All suites do have balconies. Converted from a rental building, this multi-use condominium has some retail space on the ground floor and a recent ground floor condo conversion called Grangetown. Prices are typically less than $325 per square foot.
