Space became a compromise between community and developer. As is often the case in Toronto, people with no knowledge or expertise have input in what is built in their back yard. Rising 15 levels and housing some 200 units, Space features two level lofts for 8 floors and then one level flats to the 15th floor. All suites feature balconies and all lofts feature 16’8” ceilings. Suites range from 365sqft up to 990sqft. Prices generally start at $375 per square foot and continue to approximately $450 per square foot. Facilities include a guest suite, party room, fitness area, meeting room, 24-hour concierge, and visitor parking. The building was completed in 2004 by the Co-operators Insurance Company.
