Yorktown on the Park was developed in 1990 by Victoria & Lawrence Investments overlooking a small park south east of Sherbourne and The Esplanade. While the development had a rocky financial finish, it did get completed and now functions very well as an affordable option for housing downtown. 350 suites are housed in its 14-storeys. Units range from 450sqft studios to 1200sqft two bedrooms. Penthouses are two level “quasi loft” suites with small terraces and fireplaces. Prices here are typically $350 per square foot  Facilities include a 24-hour concierge, fitness area, rooftop garden, party room, and two guest suites. Yorktown on the Park will never be mistaken for a stylish building, it does however meet its destiny by offering market value housing at fair prices.
