The Waterclub
8/10 York Street & 200 Queens Quay
The Waterclub is a three tower condominium development at the NW corner of Queens Quay and York Street. Massive in scope, the three buildings will ultimately house over 1000 units. Phase I and II are 38 storeys high and the third phase is 27 storeys high. The first two phases have been completed. The Waterclub was developed by Kolter Property Company. Suites range in the complex from 452sqft studios to 2000+sqft two bedrooms. All suites have balconies or terraces. And all suites in the first two buildings above the 19th floor have 9’ ceilings. In Phase III, the 9’ ceilings start at the 10th floor. Pricing varies from $450 per square foot for an obstructed lake view to over $500 per square foot for a prime lake view. This mega complex features a litany of facilities including 24-hour concierge, billiards room, lounge, fitness facility, two guest suites, landscaped terrace with barbeque, health spa party room, indoor/outdoor pool with terrace, sauna & steam rooms and two keel sailboats. The Waterclub is the waterfronts largest single development; it also occupies a hugely important intersection. While the Waterclub is better than many of the residential towers in our city it could have been better. Nonetheless, the Waterclub will be a very desirable place to live and it anchors the west waterfront nicely offering some much needed accessible and desirable retail.
