OVER $4.1 BILLION DOLLARS IN REAL ESTATE SOLD

YORKVILLE AREA

The Windsor Arms
22 St. Thomas Street
The Windsor Arms Condominium is probably Toronto’s most expensive condo property. Without batting an eye, purchasers are willing to pay $1000 per square foot or more for a chance to buy a unit when on the rare occasion they come for sale. Located on a wonderfully quaint street just south of Bloor Street and West of Bay, this part of Toronto feels very New York. Originally planned as a new tower above an existing historic hotel (The Windsor Arms Hotel), the original building façade collapsed during renovations and was rebuilt in its best original form. Today residents live above a vibrant four star boutique hotel and have access to the terrific hotel amenities like the courtyard café, club 22, tea room, spa & fitness rooms, room service, concierge, valet, etc. The 17-storey tower houses less than 30 units, originally set up as four 3000sqft suites per floor. When sold however, many buyers added or subtracted to create many large custom homes. Simply put the finishes at the Windsor Arms are superb and all suites include a folly (balcony) and 9’6” ceilings. The condominium offers a separate lobby and elevators from the hotel and of course 24-hour concierge. The building was designed by Page & Steele and developed by George Friedman in 1999. The floor plans are nothing short of spectacular and the tower makes a very bold statement. Condo fees are very high, but who cares because the Windsor Arms is, for a combination of reasons, Toronto’s finest condominium residence.
